Janet Echelman at Adobe MAX Bash, 2016
All credit goes to Janet Echelman for the installation captured in the series below. I was fascinated by how some of the tighter shots played with the scale of the installation, turning such a massive form into an almost microscopic, otherworldly object.
Taken on Sony a7, 55mm 1.8 Zeiss glass. Edited with Lightroom, on Mac and iOS.
It was so easy to get lost staring up at the massive installation. While it photographed beautifully, it was impossible to capture the experience of standing below it and having the shifting colors and undulating shapes fill your entire field of vision.
